So much happened
its easy to say
we went along
with the mob
and their lunacy
remember
the small bottle
one-shot
Smirnov
the girl
her costume all
too pleasantly revealing
and the apples in our
five dollar cups
the waves of people—the cars
Everclear wakening
our tongues
you can’t really say,
it wasn’t a night of nights.
